After practicing several still lifes, I decided to venture into portraiture. One of my portrait projects featured Audrey Hepburn, and I chose to keep it in black and white, mirroring the reference photo. I particularly enjoyed capturing the subtle dark shades in her hair and sweater, although I would consider lightening it if printed. Adding depth and texture to her face was another focus, aiming for a realistic look. To create a striking composition, I included a moon in the background, creating a silhouette effect, while a wispy foreground transitioned her lower body out of the frame.
