Donut Cafe
Blender | 2020
After graduating from college, I pursued a career in theater management, leaving behind my passion for 3D modeling and design. However, the unforeseen circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting confinement provided me with an opportunity to reconnect with my artistic pursuits. I decided to dedicate my time to projects that truly interested me.
One such project was the Donut Cafe, which I embarked on after following a series of YouTube tutorials. This endeavor marked my foray into the world of Blender, a software I hadn't previously used. While I had prior experience with expensive software like 3ds Max and Maya, the cost of acquiring and maintaining them became a barrier. Blender, on the other hand, proved to be a remarkable free alternative that continuously improved with each new release.
The prospect of having access to a powerful and cost-effective 3D modeling software reignited my enthusiasm for creating 3D art. I was thrilled to delve into Blender and utilize its extensive features to bring my artistic visions to life once again.
