This painting study was centered around capturing atmospheric perspective. Using photographs of a mountain range as references, I aimed to create a vast, open scene that allowed me to experiment with the gradual color changes of the trees as they recede into the distance. Additionally, I focused on depicting the rays of light emanating from the clouds, illuminating specific areas in both the foreground and background.
