Shibuya Orange
Acrylic on Canvas | 2012
In my illustration class, we explored basic acrylic paintings. This particular project aimed to familiarize us with monochromatic color schemes, allowing us to focus on the shades and tints of a specific color. I chose orange, which resulted in a beautiful sepia-toned image, and I found it visually appealing as a monochromatic palette. To create this piece, I used a photograph of Shibuya in Japan as my reference. The captivating details and vibrant lights in the image made the composition interesting to paint.
